Food Fest Local – It’s coming!
April 19, 2024Dorset Police – Community Contact Point – Waitrose, Christchurch : Fri 26 Apr 13:00
April 23, 2024The new BCP draft Local Plan for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole sets out a strategy for how much, where and what type of development will take place across the BCP area up to 2039. It will provide planning policies and site allocations to guide change and new development proposals.
Following our Issues and Options consultation which took place between January and March 2022, we are now consulting on our draft Local Plan (the ‘Publication draft’ or sometimes referred to as the ‘Regulation 19 Plan’).
The purpose of the consultation is to provide an opportunity for representations to be made on the Local Plan before it is examined by a Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State. We need to ask specific questions about the draft Plan. These questions are set by government and are around legal compliance, soundness and how the plan has been prepared.
