BID Management Team

Meet Louise Berkhauer and Eloise Howes, the Operations Managers for Christchurch Business Improvement District (BID) team. With a shared passion for enhancing Christchurch’s vibrancy and economic vitality, they work collaboratively to implement initiatives that support local businesses and foster community engagement.

Louise Berkhauer brings a wealth of experience in operations management and community development. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach, Louise is dedicated to ensuring that our initiatives elevate business success.

Eloise Howes combines her expertise in marketing and stakeholder engagement to drive impactful projects that resonate with the community. Known for her creative thinking and strong communication skills, Eloise is committed to cultivating lasting relationships with local business owners and community members.

Louise and Eloise share the position of Operations Manager and contribute different strengths that pair together seamlessly. They are based in central Christchurch’s Druitt Hall and are available mainly Tuesday to Thursdays when not in external meetings

Meet the Christchurch Business Volunteer Board of Directors

Our dedicated Volunteer Board of Directors is at the heart of the Christchurch Business Improvement District (BID). Committed to the growth and success of our local community, this board plays a vital role in guiding our initiatives and ensuring that the voices of Christchurch Town and its businesses are heard. 

Our board comprises local individuals from diverse sectors, including business owners, community leaders, and industry experts. Each member brings unique insights and experiences, contributing to a well-rounded governance and strategic planning approach.

The board establishes the strategic direction for the BID, ensuring that all initiatives align with the needs and aspirations of Christchurch Town and its businesses as per the business plan.  The board oversees the allocation of resources to projects that create lasting benefits for the community and its businesses.

Our Volunteer Board of Directors is passionate about making Christchurch a vibrant, welcoming place for all. With their leadership and commitment, we are confident in our path towards a prosperous future for Christchurch Town and its business community. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected community.
