The inaugural Christchurch Comedy Festival, celebrating the ever-growing Christchurch comedy scene, is planned for January 2027.

Christchurch will host everything from intimate emerging talent, gigs in bars, open mic nights, family comedy lunches to household names you may well know in iconic, traditional or unusual venues.

Don’t be blue this winter, get out and get your giggle on!

25th – 30th January, some say this used to be the saddest week of the year! Not anymore!
